Exclusively accessible by boat and only ten minutes from the centre of Cannes, this privileged setting nestled in the heart of Sainte Marguerite Island reopened its doors in the spring of 2022.

There are very few exceptional places. "Le Grand Jardin" is one of the wonders of the Mediterranean. The only private property on the island of Sainte-Marguerite, which together with Saint-Honorat makes up the archipelago of the Lérins Islands off Cannes, the "Le Grand Jardin" estate extends of approx. 13,000 sqm and is protected by a stone wall built at the request of Cardinal Richelieu.

This legendary property is the only one on the island and was the home of some crowned heads and celebrities such as Louis XIV, known as the Sun King, the Duke of Guise and the Governor of Provence.

The main house and its 13th century panoramic watchtower are surrounded by botanical gardens that have been cultivated for several centuries. The vegetation is exceptional with its cypresses, cedars of Lebanon, palm trees, olive trees, fruit trees and flowers with a thousand scents. A remarkable fauna completes this idyllic picture.

- The main villa consists of a large reception area, a dining room and a kitchen. Upstairs is a 53sqm master suite with lounge, dressing room, shower room and WC.
- The guest villa offers two communicating bedrooms with a bathroom. Upstairs there are two further suites with en-suite shower rooms.
- The first cottage has a master suite with a sitting room and shower room.
- The second cottage consists of a master suite with sitting room and shower room.
- The third cottage consists of a master suite with sitting room and shower room.
- Three additional suites with shower rooms are located on the ground floor at pool level.
- At the top of the Tower is a Master Suite with dressing room, shower room and panoramic sea view.

Below the pool is a full SPA with three treatment rooms, a fitness room, a sauna and a hammam. There is also a heated swimming pool and a natural pool.

How far in advance should I book?

Given the strong demand for our rental properties, we advise you to book as early as possible. Reservation requests made less than a week before your arrival may not be honored, due to the administrative, financial and material organization involved in renting out our properties.
What methods of payment are accepted?

All payments are made by bank transfer to our agency's dedicated account.
Will I have to pay a down payment?

A deposit of 25% of the rent will be required at the time of booking. The balance of 75% must be paid at least one month before the start of the rental period. In the case of late bookings (less than one month before the start of the rental period), the full rent must be paid when the rental contract is signed.
Will I have to pay a deposit?

You will be asked to pay a deposit to cover any damage or additional costs. Subject to a compulsory minimum for certain properties, the deposit is 30% of the rent.
